I shake my head with bewilderment
Well, I just picked up my car from the Honda dealership after getting an oil and diff fluid change (LE-607
). Anyway, my oil change seemed to be priced a bit high, so I asked why. . . the answer: "Well, we had to use synthetic because S2000s come standard with synthetic."
After hearing this, I figured I'd go take a look at the new 2006 S2000s. I asked the salesperson if there were any in the lot because I wanted to see what was new/improved on the car. He told me that the 2006 models weren't out yet, and that there was no difference between that and a used one he could sell me today.
I said, "aren't there a few changes, like the seats (hoping he'd mention DBW or VSA)." He said, "No, exactly the same car. Can I show you the used one on the lot?"
It never ceases to amaze me how poorly Honda trains their techs and salespeople. Unreal.

Sales people often assume you know less than them and will tell white lies to get the sale.Trending Topics
It's not corporate Honda that is the blame - it is the poor training that service writers and salespeople get from their management (or lack thereof).
Remember - dealerships are franchises that are privately owned.
