I think I might buy this car....
Well I'm still in the middle of my search for used S2000 (I like the pre-04 models more). Anyways, I ran across this one and I think I'll be purchasing this car. Tell me what you guys think- oh and by the way- The car is not going to be 26k. I offered 23,500 and he seemed interested. What is a reasonable offer for this car? I don't want to lowball but I also don't want to get ripped off!

For that price range I would want the Advan wheels and the Bride seats... when I look at that car the first things that I see (after that eye-catching color) are those 2 items.
I think it is kind of dirty pool on the owner's part.. posting photos of a magazine ready car and telling you that you cannot have some of the parts (and including downgraded wheels that will not look right on that car- in my opinion). He needs to swap the parts and then take for-sale photos.
As far as price... just think that a stock used one would bring in the low 20's... you just have to determine what those modifications are worth to you. And you have to remember that if you ever sell it (I know... you never want to think of that day) there is going to be a limited market for it (some want to buy bone-stock S2k's but most do not mind a few bolt-on modifications). But if you are like some of us on here you will not let that bother you and decide to purchase a really sweet-looking S2k.
