Post I took my grandmother for a spin in the s

one sunday morning my grandmother asked me to take her to church; i quickly jumped at this opportunity. the church is about half an hour away regularly, we got there in about 18minutes. Yes i put the top down, yes i had to take the freeway and yes i really drove the car. When we arrived she was shocked, her hair was a mess and she looked a lot like this: .

my grandmother doesn't ask me to take her places anymore.

it was both fun and hilarious. anyone else had the honour of scaring the crap out of their older family members?

Consider yourself removed from the will....

That is something I would do to my wife, but not my granmother.

Took my dad for a ride.

6'4" tall. 78 years old. Top down.

Had to help him get out of the car afterward, but 6 months later and you still cannot get the grin off his face!

My grandmother rode back with me when I was moving back to Alabama from Mississippi. She liked it. I got hard off the line to redline a couple of times and she smiled. No high speed stuff though.

Nice stuff

I hope you're kidding. And you were taking her to church for christ's sakes. I make every effort to make my grandma as comfortable and stress-free as possible. She doesn't have many more years to look forward to and the last thing I need to do is drive like a jackass and have her soil her depends in my car.

Next time, give your grandma the keys and have her do some dough nuts.
