i-vtec for 03 S2K??
No, it would make sense and more low end torque. However, those of us who attended a briefing with two of Honda's engineers at Motegi this summer came away with the distinct impression that there will be no earth shattering changes under the hood anytime soon.

I hope not!
This may sound dumb but having a different engine in it would make it a different car. It would also alienate many S2000 owners by creating 2 classess of car. Not to mention the huge hit resale values would take.

Rather than answer these one by one, refer to this thread. Although we were speaking to engineers, rathing than marketing & money folk, it was made very clear that Honda planned to sell the car as long as it was a good seller and financially viable.

I hope not, i will make it a different car. I tested the RSX-s with the I VTEC. You don't feel the kick into vtec until 7000 rpm, even though the vtec comes on at 6000 rpm. It does make the car more smoother, but It takes character out of it.
