That's a Caterham Seven. They are made in the UK and sell there for about the same price as an S2000 would. Typically they have a Rover engine, 1.6 or 1.8, with a top speed around 130 or so. No doubt great fun. Naturally they are a take-off of the original Lotus Seven, upgraded to today's requirements. I may be wrong, but I believe you can still import them into the states. With a S2000 engine.... holly shxt!
I've never had the chance to drive a Lotus 7 but I recall a fun dice with one from Elkhart Lake to Chicago after attending a race there in my MGA.

Caterham Seven
cthree, here's a British writeup at the site I referenced and it does not say anything about it being a kit (although I'm aware it can be purchased that way but I would think for much less).
As a provider of fun on four wheels there is little to match the Caterham Seven apart from a go-kart. Unlike its few rivals, the Caterham has a heritage to boast about, being derived from the classic Lotus Seven. The small light and nimble Seven may not offer anything in the way of practicality but it will make any car you have ever driven feel leaden in comparison. With 1.6-litre Vauxhall or 1.6/1.8-litre Rover K-series engines in various tune, the Seven's minimal weight ensures even with the lower-powered engines performance is hugely entertaining. Suspension is adjustable to the buyer's requirements, pliant for lots of road use, firmer for road and track. Whatever the decision, the Seven feels as if it was bred for racing. The tiny steering wheel responds immediately to the touch, the short-throw gearshift is positive, throttle response lightning fast. A quick drive along twisty lanes highlights the Seven's immensely likeable character. The model range changes on an almost weekly basis, though has been extended literally with SV versions that offer more interior space for an additional

If there is still any doubt that this is NOT a Caterham 7 -or- that it is NOT built in the UK please see:

But, either way, it would be hoot to have one.
