They have a similar program, that has engine start and revs for a couple different models of Lambos and Ferraris. But it doesn't make use of the engine start button, rather the logo.

 

Back in 99 Honda had a direct mail teaser/brochure where you pressed the start button and the revving sound of an S was heard. I can't seem to find mine, anyone still have theirs?

That's a pretty cool idea! I could make it very easily but I wonder if there's a market for it. I'd also have to figure out a way to record all those exhausts with high quality equipment so I could play it back at CD quality (important for when people have headphones plugged in).

Who here would pay $0.99 for it?



P.S. Sorry, just got a chance to check the PM. Good news though is that my first game should be going up soon. I'll have the last of the business stuff finalized tomorrow and then it's off to the code review department.

I would consider making it free for a while, but only to drum up reviews and downloads. There are costs involved with making apps and games. I'd have to have a reasonably good feeling that I'd make money on the app to go for it. If we take it on we'll make it as close as we can to perfect.
