Default Identify this part, please #75700-S2A-000ZD

Hey all,

I scored an extra JDM badge from a fellow owner over the weekend! Unfortunately I can't tell if it is for the front or the rear (posts are different?). Also, since I have an '00 the badges are smaller than '02+. Do the JDM badges also come in two sizes, or do I go big with JDM?

I called my local Honda parts counter (actually 2 of them) and neither one could handle it - idiots as usual. Even with a part number, supposedly their "system" could not handle it. Whatever. I'll just come to the REAL experts........S2KI!!!!!

As always, any help is mucho appreciated,
Hockey

No camera here, bummer for me!

The posts are below the middle of the badge, if you turn it over and look at the back.

Does that help?

not really. The post size is diffrent front and rear so its easy to tell by pic. The other diff front and rear was that the front had 2 strips of tape(top and bottom) on the back and the rear badge tape covered just about the entire back of the badge.

Aha!

I have tape across the top and bottom, so this is a front?

It is much larger when I hold it up to the one on the car now. Are there two sizes for JDM? 00-01 & 02+?

Thanx again

Im not too sure about the diffrent sizes. I got mine from H & A, not sure if they are a board sponsor still but they do list the badges on their site. So Im sure they know the part numbers for sure. Sounds like a front to me though.

tape across the the top and bottom is the frt badge (just did mine saturday)

the posts on the frt badge is more rounded too (so the lock washers can slid over them)

these are a bit bigger than the old <02 badge and will cover the area

The front badge has 13/16" between posts, the rear has 11/16" between posts.

75700-S2A-000ZD is the part number for a FRONT silverstone JDM (or '99-'01 UK) badge.

75701-S2A-000ZD is the REAR.

Hope this helps.

Fantastic guys.

Much appreciated.

I E-mailed HandA since they say 00-01 only. Maybe they have a different size. I asked them to check their part numbers to compare.
