Lucky for me, I don't look my age (one good thing about being asian). I guess that's why the younger kids don't bother me. Most of the time, they just want to race anyway.

I'm young, and I still get the look from younger people AND older people. It's a lose/lose situation when people want your car. HOWEVER, I don't give a damn what others think! My car makes me do this ---> and that's all I care about.

Me too. And this as well. It sure is nice to know that people appreciate fine automobiles, huh?

I'd just challenge them to an autocross or a few laps at Sebring .

The only "kid" that's come close was our departments web-designer in his M3. Some of my fellow "old farts" have wupped me pretty good though .

Not trying to be an a$$ ... I don't want to be 60 before I can afford a Lamborgini Diablo GT or a really fast Ferrari even a Porsche. The truth is, once you get to that stage of your life ... You will never truly appreciate the engineering, design, concept and everything that has been built into your dream car.

Because, let's face it ... You need to drive it fast and hard to know what it is really made up of. Sorry to say, but I don't see many old people having the guts and courage of a young man. It's the truth, it's just nature. When I get to 60, I want to be driven. Not driving anymore.

The young may have the guts to drive faster than the old, but they are also taking more life and death chances with their youth. I drove fast when I was younger and now I have driven faster and safer (knock on wood) now that I'm older. I don't have any of that road rage in me like I did when I was young, thank God. I, truly enjoy what I have now and would find it uncomfortable to worry about having a Ferrari or Lambo. Porsche, on the other hand.....

While my earning years (23-41) afforded me the opportunity to afford nice things, my retirement years have given me the time to truly appreciate things like the S, or just sitting down and doing absolutely nothing for hours at a time, until boredom sets in and nearly makes me want to go back to work . . . NOT!
