I've noticed reading the "beater" post that a lot of S2000 owners have a second car... me, the S2000 will be my only car for a year.

For those living in places that experience harsh winters need not apply... I'm asking those who live in the sunny areas of the world.

 

Nope...Since it is me, the wife, & kid I would have to make two trips anytime I wanted to go somewhere.

 

What do you mean? The S2000 is my only car.

 

The S2K is my only car, the only time I wish I had another is in the real bad rain and slight flooding...hate having the stook out in it, just worried about the car.

S2k is my only car AND my beater car if you count me using in the rain and as an alternative mode of transportation to my 1st ride, the RC.

The S2000 was at first meant to be a "fun car." My wife at the time had her '99 Honda Accord Sedan EX and I still had my '00 Honda Accord Coupe EXVL. . .her lease came up and she was going to buy some type of SUV (you know the deal)! But instead, I was driving my S2000 EVERYDAY. . .how could you not drive it all the time!?! Well, I told my wife to just turn her Sedan in at the end of the lease and drive my Coupe until I get tired of my S2000! Don't think that's going to happen!

Seriously, I LOVE MY S2000! I drive an hour each way to work and love every minute of it!

Ah to live in Sunny California. If the S2000 was my only car, I'd be taking alot of snow days!

 

Yep, the S2K is my only car. Top stays down all the time except when it rains.
