Default if top took longer

would you put the top down less if it took 20+ seconds to put down and up like some hardtop converts?

There is a limit, though. I think if I had the Solstice, where you have to get out of the car and walk around to both sides to put the top down (or back up), I'd probably not bother with nearly as often.

That would suck if it took 20 seconds to put the top down, but I would still do it as long as it was fully powered.

I would tolerate a longer time for a retractible hardtop, but as long as I can get it up or down at a stoplight (or rolling under 30mph) without getting out of the car, I don't see a problem.

You raise and lower the top up to 30mph???

I would be afraid of anything over 5 mph, but I'm probably just paranoid.

I could see it now, trying to explain to State farm how my top flew away.
