This past week, I had to play a host to 3 ladies: a visitor from Korea (my Sister) who

 

Yup, I always appreciate what I have in the S2000, but you don't TRULY realize it until you have to be without the car. It really do miss the car a lot, and it feels so good to get back in the car. Sometimes when I get the car back, I get so excited to drive it, I kill the engine, hahahaha!!!

 

My car is MIA until Wednesday or Thursday. My dealership got the parts in for my TSB's ... so, they gave me an Accord sedan as a loaner (more like beater). But this withdrawl is very true ... actually, I used my mom's Z3 for a few days last time my S was getting maitnance done, that even that didn't fix the crave.

 

one question, why was Rule #3 a rule?

 

Even worse is driving your S2000 with that damned spare donut

 

I would make that a rule, if I ever loaned my S. Driving with the top down is safer because of the increased visibility. Also drivers behind you can see past your car much easier and that should reduce your chances of being rear ended.

 

I hear ya man. I recently visited my family for a few days up in Boston. They have a maxima and a sienna. I never realized how detached from the road and driving experience you are in most cars. My gf just got an Accord and while it's nice driving around in A/C when it's 100+, I still miss having the feeling of being apart of the driving experience when I'm not in my S. I'd rather have heat exhaustion from my car then the numb feeling I get when I drive anything else I'm spoiled now, I don't think I'll ever be able to live without some sort of performance vehicle in my possesion

 

The RSX-S is pretty fast. One mis-shift is all it takes to get beaten by the RSX. Happened to me. hehe. And I love the interior too. But man when you own the S2000 and have gotten used to the short throw shift, all other manual tranny cars feel like rowing a boat.

 

Wow...you've got a lot of trust in the guy considering he didn't know how to drive a stick . I've just had bad experiences with loaning people my cars...I'll rent before swapping. But its good to hear things turned out ok, bet its great to have the stook back .

It's to experience the full S2000 experience. He's also like 5'11"-6'0", so better visibility. And, so he can show it off. He took it to his gf's high school reunion, that must've been fun.

He's in the business of saving lives. I trust my life w/ him so why wouldn't I trust him w/ my car. Hate to say it, but it's just a car, and he's a great friend, and my car is still under warranty.

Been there, done that... for one or two days before getting new tires, just to work and back (3 miles each way). Same buddy picked me up for work, workout, groceries, etc. for about 3 days before the wheels came in.

Man, after this experience, the word got out and everybody wants to trade cars for the weekend. I've gotten some nice offers too. I'll keep you posted.
