Steve Dinan has supercharged the Z3 M roadster. It only adds $19K to the price, and R&T says it now will beat an S2000. Well, duh . . . I hope so. Check it out at:

If you read the stats 19k dosent buy you much more performance. by the numbers anyway.

If you go by the numbers only, and had 51k, a C5 convertible would be a pretty mean machine with a warranty... At 51k, you'd be getting an almost fully loaded one, and if some of the fluff and clutter doesnt matter to you, then it would cost even less.

 

Without even reading i can tell you that thats crap, i am sure they can run a 13flat and even 12s with that car. Look at what i was running with a stock stook, this on a day with no grip. With about 395 Angry horses, that car will FLY. I would still not buy it though even if i could afford it, and at the moment i CANNOT.

 

how about the $5000 turbo kit for the Celica from XS Engineering?

 

I noticed that many had warranty concerns WRT the Comptech SC.

Steve Dinan may not be cheap (other SCs are available for these cars in the 4.5-6K range) but the package includes more than just the engine stuff.

And a 100% BMW and Dinan warranty, no loop holes or exclusions. BMW selected them for this "honor." due to their long history of qualiy work.
