Default if your s2000 was stolen

if you are from gerogia or no any1 from gerogia who has had the 2005 sebring silver s2000 wth black and red interior then i am here to let you know that the car is in california. i waslooking on craigslist to buy a s2000 and came across the 2005 sebring silver s2k with blk and red interior for 17.5k. once i got the ladys info like vin number and stuff and took it to my bank to get the loan i ask if just could check the pink to see if the lady was the only person on the list and that she didn't owe any money on the car or anything. come to find out the car if from gerogia and none of the info she gave me mtach the info that the bank gave me. here is a link to the s2k.

if it's yours lets me know. the reason why i am doing the is because at the bank they called the cops and arrested the lady and so i continued my search for an s2k and the add was re posted so apparently the cops never got a hold of the car. not 100% sure of the car is 05 it could be 04-07 which i think was the last year they made sebring silver

Thank you for sharing, they should be able to look up the VIN and see who the registered owner is.

i live near that area. crazzyyy. im going to call them, set up a meet, and call the cops. i hate it when thiefs steal personal belonging, and take it a little personal based on the fact its an s2000.

This is what I plan to do:
get his number and set up a meet.
get the vin the is listed on the dash, and make sure it matches te vin engine bay, etc.
call the cops to run the vin, to just to double check.
it should come out dirty, tell them of the currect situation, and i would just love to be a part of this guy being arrested.

i already asked for his number, ill keep you guys posted.

bro i talked to a women named Leslie on the phone. she sounds like a niceest, sweetest, old women.

But I asked her for the VIN, what was the VIN she gave you? Just to see if they are matching...

did you bother to check if the carfax vin she gave you matched the vin on te actual car?

The cops should find the CA plates are fake since only the registered owner in GA can register the car in CA after a smog check. Good thing you didn't just withdraw $17.5K and hand it to the seller.

I think "cash" in the ad is the tell-tale sign.

Good luck in your quest to find your S!
