Default I'm in!

Picked up my '04 Silverstone/black last night. 200 miles on the odo already...

Things I've noticed:
The headlights are absurd, I've never seen such a rediculous cutoff. Good though.
Love how the heater vents can point right at your hands.
Does your seatbelt engage a lot, holding you into the seat?

This is my first stick-shift car, which really adds to the fun.

Glad to have you in the family! I'm sure that you will only grow to enjoy the car more and more as you get to know it better. Take your time especially with a new stick shift, this car can be dangerous if you dont handle it correctly.

I like the headlights. They're just totally different from any I've had before.

Also, in the trunk, did anything come in the big center space in the styrofoam tool holder? Or is that just another secret storage place?

That's the contraband compartment!

Yup, empty, although some members put a first aid kit there.

You'll get used to the lights. It took me a while, as I kept finding myself wanting to sink lower and lower in the seat when driving at night so I could see below that harsh line of light all across the horizon.

You'll adjust. And then you'll love them! They are awesome! They go out farther and wider than any other car I've been in with HIDs.

I've noticed that the seatbelt in my S engages (locks) more than in any other car I've been in.

And of course, on my ride home from the dealer, I got a small rock chip on the front rim of the hood... Were we supposed to get touch-up paint w/the car?
