I'm Alive
Hey guys. Just wanted to share my story of what happened on the weekend. I was driving to work on a Sunday night. It was really foggy. You couldn't see 20 feet in front of you. The roads were wet and since its Fall, leaves everywhere. The only road that led to my work was a curvy backboard through the woods. No streetlights, no lights in general. Mindful, i was driving extra careful. EXTRA CAREFUL. When i was coming out of the last corner, i hit a patch of wet leaves, which became like oil. I felt i started to fishtail. I started to counter steer. I was coming as really close to the car in front of me. I counter steered the third time and last time. The car went up a hill and rolled twice. It stopped on its side after the second roll. First thought was to turn of the engine. I realized the only way out was through the soft top. I unclipped the top and pulled myself out. Needless to say, the car is totaled. I have minor scratches on my face and that's it. Now i'm in the market for a new car. Here are some pics i took when the fire department took it off its side.

Oh man, sorry to hear that. On the plus side, you get to be in the market for a new car. I miss that feeling! Glad you are ok. What are you going to do with the s2k? are any parts salvageable? When reading your story I thought it was an epic recovery... until the car went up a hill... +1 for the soft top escape!
I still had about 50% tread on my tires. My speed was about 20-25. And i yes, i was still gaining on the car in front of me.

I'm sorry about your car but let me get this straight, you were going 20 to 25 and started to fishtail then your car went up a hill and rolled twice. I think you may have been going a little faster than 20 or 25 mph, when its fogy its hard to tell how fast your going unless you are looking at the speed-o and when its fogy most people look at the road and not at the speed-o. That is when the speed slowly creeps up. Have you thought about buying it back and turning it into a track car?
