Almost back after a two year absence without a S2000. I sold me MY02 Sebring Silver S2000 in December 2003 in order to be a hero - bought my wife a new 2004 Acura TL. I also needed more room as I am a mobilized reservist and geo bachelor. So I treated myself to a 2004 Acura MDX last March. Well life goes on and this year the military offered me PCS orders (can move my family here) so we are all together again (and therefore I don't need more room any more).

Well long story short, after my wife has been here for awhile and had a chance to drive my MDX, she finds out she really likes it. I almost fell over when at dinner (with one of my son's in attendance so I have a witness) she states "we need a SUV to carry stuff so as long as I get to keep the MDX you can buy a S2000 again if you want too". Needless to say I was floored (of course my incessant whining about not having an S2000 might have weighed in as well). She did add one stipulation that I could not spend more than I could get for the 2004 TL (Private Party sale around $28K) which is okay as I have 7K in a slush fund.

So I am back in the market for an S2000. Id be out looking right now but I have always want to get one in Monte Carlo Blue or British Racing Green with tan interior/top. Holding out to see what the 06's might have - not that I am holding my breath. Otherwise I think I will go with the darker silver (silverstone with the red/black interior). Of course I look forward to adding the goodies especially Rick's stuff - in particular the Ti Voodoo shift - best upgrade ever. If anyone has any advice/recommendations feel free to chime in. Again looking forward to joining the fold again and especially the camaraderie with the Carolina owners. Airgate it has been a while but as soon as I driving an S again I'll be looking for a meet.
