I'm driving a TT today for grins...impressions.
I have undertaken to delete my posts of any content here since the Management here has made this an unfriendly place for me and the club I founded and am President of, the S2000 Club of America, Inc. and they have claimed that my words have somehow become THEIR property and I think that's pretty uncool. If you would like to read whatever post, please contact me at greg@s2kca.com. Thanks

Hello All-
There is ONLY one Mugen ECU for the S2000. The rumors of two different Mugen ECU's is completely false...
Please, if you need any information about this or any other Mugen product, give us a call 262-593-2800 or drop us an email at tech-staff@kingmotorsports.com
Cheers!

I was going to order a mugen ECU back in summer 2000 and i went to a few shops in HK (GP club, crazy racing, kit racing ... ), since the S2K comes in 2 specs.. the US version which is the HK dealer version ( 240 hp ) and the Japanese version (where u can get it in places like Promax)which has higher compression( 250 hp ). Apparently the japanese version has a different ecu program( fuel map) which needs higher octane fuel and the guy told me that i have to specify which version i have.. Also other ECU tuners have a few programs 2 except Spoon ( Feels, Mines ). Spoon is only compatible with the JDM spec S2k, dunno about Mugen though.
BTW wileecoyote , GP club is in Tai kok tsui.. go and grap a copy of the option fans and u'll c the address.. price is around $11k HKD
