Man it's kind of hard to deal with people who think I'm spoiled because I own an S2000. They think my parents gave me the car or I'm not paying for it. As soon as they see some young guy driving the car, they'll assume it. Ofcourse I told some of these people that I work hard for it but I can only tell so many. Especially when I'm just browsing through some forums on internet it's always something like...."some kid in his dady's car...." when they feel that the person driving isn't good enough for the car. dah well whatever, I know I deserve my car because I work hard for it and I appreciate it so much since I started off in a "not so nice" car when I turned 16. Im 21, by the way. I just dont look my age. Anyways I just wanted to share this because I know some of us here feel the same way.

when i drive my i30, some people look at me real funny, i actually like the attention even if they think i'm not paying for the car.. oh, being 23 but looking 19 doesn't help either...

i know exactly what you mean, my wife is 19 and whenever she drives she gets that all the time, i dont see what the big deal is, its only a 30k car

Im only a student who works for his folks but is extremely overpaid.

Im 21 as well. I admire people who work hard for the things they have. And I know exactly how you feel when people give you "the look"


theres really nothing you can do,....me, Im very modest when it comes to me and my car. I always turn down the radio when I enter public places because I dont like to showoff. My friends think I bought the car because I wanted to showoff, but I really bought it because it makes me happy,..not other people.


people will always be jealous. And if they are going to judge you based upon what you have or how fortunate you are, then its not worth caring what they think. I always say to the people who judge me like that "if you had the chance to be fortunate like me, would you reject it?" if they say no, then raise the B.S. flag.

Hey i do like the new silver alot. I had the metalic silver before my yellow now so i should know which silver is the Sebring silver and which is the Metalic right? wrong! I was at honda's service department and i was looking at this 3-day old new silver that was wrecked (its so sad to see another fellow S damaged) but anyways i stood there and stared at it for awhile before realizing the car was 02! must be the dark area..but I had to look at the shift knob just to make sure that it was indeed an 02...i love the little improvements they've made. Maybe on the '03 models we can open the passenger door with a button while sitting in the driver's seat without having to reach across and do it manually huh??
