A check card isn't a credit card. The funds are yours, so you don't have the leverage as you would with a credit card for a dispute.
Well, Ill just have to get my bank involved then.

I got mine a week after I order....but I talked to him on the phone before I ordered to make sure he them in stock....Hope everything works out ok
I called him too on a Thursday and he said he'd ship it on Monday. A little over a month later I received mine. During that time period he never responded to my calls or emails. I filed a paypal claim and he did not respond to that either.

No, you are not the only person to have issue with him. But I can tell you that everyone has always been taking care of in the end. Nick has never stiffed anyone.

It will all work out in the end.

Sorry it has to happen, ever.

I ordered a heat shield on July 4. Three weeks later, no confirmation that he received my order, no return phone calls, emails or PMs. Nothing.

Just filed a paypal dispute since you only have a limited amount of time to ensure you get a refund in cases like this, though I'd really just prefer the heatshield itself.

I understand things happen, and i hope that the seller and his family are ok. I always fear the worst when I get NO response whatseover....

Why can't he at least return phone calls, emails, or PM's? There is no excuse for that! That is just plain bad customer service! I don't know about the OP but I for one can understand reasonable delays, but for goodness sakes, let me know. Keep the buyer in the loop so he does not feel like he is being boned.

I have had more than a few times when I ordered parts from vendors on S2KI and have got either the wrong part or it took forever, and no one would respond to my calls or e-mails until I posted here. Then I would get the usual flood of, " Oh he is a great guy. He will fix it" Then eventually the vendor sees the post, makes up some excuse and fixes the issue!

Why do we have to do business this way?

Im a very patient guy, but when my voicemails and emails are not responded too then I start to get a lil frustrated over time. Im entitled to some kind of reasoning behind this ordeal. I understand things come up but man, it seems like everyone who orders something from this guy has a delay with recieving there product and problems with obtaining contact from ztec. I placed an order with this guy because he seems to be the only vendor who sells the single exhaust cap. Christ, by now I could have made my own All I expect is a simple email or phone call giving me the status of the product especially when his website says "IN STOCK".

Sorry to hear about your experience.

Go Tuning (also a vendor here) sells the same product. Didn't compare pricing between the two companies but I don't think anyone has ever had a problem with Tommy.

Here is the link:
