You understand that at college, it probably won't take long for your top to get slashed, seats, steering wheel, and wheels all stolen. Might as well go with an AP2 with higher value, and a better chance at your insurance company not just totalling it out.

Your dad probably wants to drive it every so often when you're not.

Even for a 10 year old car, I would imagine a Prelude is quite a new and nice.

Never had a problem with my Supra, S2K, M3, or Cayman.

^Wow, you must either work very very hard to have the money to own all those cars or you were/are very spoiled during your college years.

Screw it get the nicest car you can if your pop is willing to pay for it.

Enjoy life man!

Since you're coming from a Prelude which is a pretty relaxed drive I think an AP2 would be perfect for you, especially since it looks fresher and drives smoother.

Get a 2005 S2000 and enjoy having an amazing convertible to drive while you're in College, you'll remember these years for the rest of your life.

Don't buy brand new, there are amazing deals on 2005-2006.

AP1 of course. You're young and able to handle the 9K revs.
