According to the article(s) at least it will still be 2 seater, light, ME-RWD, and convertible. All things we have already. Let's not be too critical of an internet drawing that isn't even sourced from Honda probably. I'm just hoping it isn't a cr-z w/o a roof.

And not a very creative drawing, at that - they took Honda's old OSM design study model from nearly two years ago, changed the color and tweaked the front end is all.

I like the look but not sure it will be a true sports car if molded with the Beat.

It will be a while before I am in the market for another vehicle...so I will patiently wait and see what Honda is going to do. If nothing else, I'm going to find myself an NSX in good shape (fingers crossed)!!

By "S2000 replacement" they really mean Del Sol.

If they decide to give it some power could be decent. Small light weight, mid engine rwd and with some power would probably be a blast to drive.
Most likely it will be hybrid or a tiny engine put into it unfortunately.

I think it's misleading to call this an s2000. Honda won't likely build another S2000.

You guys should really know by now that nothing is in stone until Honda makes it production. Every car salesman I know that works for Honda says they're making another S2000 it's going to be AWD. I'm sure that isn't true either. Like I said, nothing is set in stone. Relax.

This would be an interesting project. AN AWD S. I would to drive that. The beat isnt going to replace the S2000 in anyway they just say it in the article because both car have some similarities. No way the Beat is a sports car and never will be.
