Yep, after 6 weeks... today I finally decided to wash my car. It looks soooooo much better!

It's also the cheapest mod I've done! My butt-dyno tells me it's faster, too.

I think you just gained 40 HP by removing the 40LBS of dirt...............

Woah Dave stop right there. You know that once you start modding you can't stop.
Next thing you know you will be washing the wheels, polishing the car, and applying leather conditioner to the seats.

Stop now and don't get sucked into the downward spiral.

Can anybody offer re-hab for this guy?

My next mod is a full tank of gas. Then I'll refill the bottle of water in my trunk. If I lose all self control I may splurge for a new CD to listen to.

Seriously, though, I really need a new CD.

Check back with us in a little while. Maybe you'll catch the cleaning bug. The S is an easy car to wash and keep clean. Check out some of the cool wash/wax products around (e.g., www.sportscarcare.com) and you'll get hooked.

Son, I have one word to say to you... "microfiber"

I can't go 2 weeks without washing my car, but that's cause I'm crazy. Also my car is parked outside, so the need to clean often is greater

mine goes about 2 months between details... and only looks like it needs to be washed if it rains- otherwise it looks brand new for the entire 2 months.
several of us have this experience... and we hang out in the wash and wax forum if you want to find out how we do it!
