This is true...I dono if its American, but I don't think its JDM
The invidia line of exhausts are badged under RSR but actually made by skunk2.
I would like to suggest you to garage the car for life and only take it out to car shows because just driving that thing on a the street is a waste.
The only appropriate place would be HPDEs or show.

After reading Mindcore's reply, I gotta agree with him. Are you planning on learning how to drive stick in the S? If you are, I'd suggest otherwise, and that you take a class or at least practice on another car before you start driving the S.
I had my S2000 when I was 15, and made sure I did not learn stick on this car, took several driving schools, although I raced go-karts and been to racing schools, this car is different. I also after proper break-in, took it to an open track and learned the limits of the car, this has become very useful. Also, get used to the car before you modify it, modding it before you know what the car is like will make it so you appreciate the mods less and the differences it makes. I had a 2002 Civic Si and had an intake, header, exhaust, springs, wheels, etc. on there within a few weeks of getting the car. I never really felt the differences as it all blended together. When I put an intake on my S2000 after 10,000 miles of driving it, it made driving it so much more enjoyable. Let the mod bug bite you after you learn the ins and outs of the car.
