Default I'm Soooo Pissed at HONDA (Update) !

Hey there S fans. Here is my update on my situation with Honda. A few of you mentioned that Honda was not to blame and that is true. I'm not pissed at Honda, I was pissed at my local Honda dealership. Heres the latest. After all that crap at the dealership I bout my 01 from, I took a friend on this boards advice and called up Honda World of Westminister. Yesterday, I called there and spoke with the nicest of all service guys. He said he would talk to his manager in regards tomy fogged up tailight and my car being 2 weeks old. He said he would get back to me later in the afternoon or the following day. He called me at 11:00am the same day! He asked if I can be at Honda World by 2 pm so his manager can take a look at my tail light. I said OF COURSE! I was so happy to hear that they were even willing to talk about it and look at it even when the S was purchased somewhere else. So off I go at 1 to meet him. Long story short, I get there, Chris greets me right away and calls for his manager. Out she comes, looks at the taillight and said lets wet it and see if it leaks. So, an hour later, a technician confirms leakage and an hour and a hlf later, I'm sporting a new taillight and a fresh car wash! All came under warranty! As my original purchase dealer basically told me to go kick rocks. That just goes to show how there are people in it to suck the comsumers dry and there are people in it to make business but yet still have a honest friendship with its clients. All in all, as for my S ever being wrecked, I will return to the blood sucking dealer where I purchased her and ask for a Car Fax report. If my S was wrecked, then boys, I am going to sue the pants off that dealer. We all get Vortech Superchargers for our S's at COST! LOL! So in Conclusion, I give the guys at HONDA WORLD more than two thumbs up! Great service, excellent people to talk to, nice area to wait for your vehicle!!!!! I will be taking my S to Honda World for all my needs from now on!! Chris, thanks beyond words! You are the man!! HONDA WORLD ROCKS!!!!!!!

congrats on your new rear lights. I thought the rear lights can be easily replace by the warranty due to the fading issue. I'm waiting for the news about your car overall, accident, etc. Keep us posted.

Glad (one of) your issue was resolved. But didn't you have a leaking headlight also? Why didn't you have them look at that? And while they were replacing your taillights, did you happen to ask them to take a look to see if the car was involved in any accidents? Mechanics can often tell if a car was repaired after an accident.

If you have such high praise for "HONDA WORLD", you may want to let people know where in the world it is located -- since your profile does not even show a state. I hope all your other issues will also be resolved to your satisfaction.

Honda World is located in So. California, in city of Westminster or Irvine? Many of the So. Cal. S2 were purchased there. Fellow board member "Pierceman" is fleet manager there, I believe? Nothing but rave reviews for the man and his dealership!!
