Default Impact of Comptech Adj Sway Bar on AP2 daily drive

My 2005 silverstone is my beloved daily driver. I'm looking to start autocrossing as well and add the race rubber (Kumho Victoracers most likely). To stay stock, the only other change is the addition of a recommended (per Autocrss FAQ) Comptech Adj. Sway Bar.

From what I have gathered in the posts - this is necessary with race tires due to the increased stickiness and negative effect on my differentials too. For autocross, I'm assuming I will have the bar adjusted in the stiffer range.

Now, it seems that for daily driving - on my stock OEM REO50's - the larger sway bar will add more understeer to the car than normal. Even more so, if I leave the settings on stiff (as many autocrossers seem to do). From the posts, I get the feeling that many people find it too much of a hassle to dial the sway bar down to it's softest setting.

1. For daily driving on stock AP2 wheels, is it preferable to have the comptech sway bar in it's softest setting? (which is still 62% stiffer than standard)?
2. What will I notice in daily driving, including spirited driving on my stock set-up?

Ultimately, I want to do what I can to be moderately competitive in autocross, but not take away from the fun I get from daily driving.

I have the non-adj. Comtech front bar and it really added alot of street grip, car oversteers slighly less but sticks much better.

On the street you will probably not notice the bar at all. I've been running one for almost 5 years and never push it on the street to the limits seen on the track.

You won't notice any difference in daily driving. You shouldn't be pushing hard enough on the street to notice it. Besides, if you are driving that hard on the street, understeer is not a bad thing.
