Finally got the shipment in today from Japan.

This Import Development prototype exhaust is made by one of our OE manufacturers in Japan. It's one piece, and its design takes after a mix of the J's/Spoon/Mugen design and looks. I really like the cannister/tip design, and it comes free with an optional silencer that you can bolt on. No, I don't have any dyno charts, but the piping is designed for max flow/max power. It weighs at 18.9 pounds on my home scale. I don't have a price yet, but it'll be competitive as usual. This is one of the exhausts you (the forum readers) voted on when I asked about what exhausts you wanted a while back, I hope it's everything I think it is in performance and looks. I don't know how it sounds - yet. I'll let you guys know soon.

We're working on other parts under our newly established division: MINUNI Performance Products. From now on, Import Development, Inc. will be a holding company doing distribution of JDM parts, while MINUNI Performance Products will carry high quality, high performance parts we design and manufacture for specific applications. I made the announcement last night at the chat session, but I guess it was a Monday night, and everyone was watching football

"MINUNI Performance Products: On the track or on the strip, we got you covered." ™

looks good. I wonder what does it sounds like. Looking forward for a sound clip.

also, would move the racing seat/rail set forward the priority. I am considering a racing seat next year. I would love to check it out before the summer comes.

Mingster,

Any chance on a dual exhaust version. Some of us really like the dual exhaust!

That does look very sweet. I'll be looking forward to seeing a price and possibly hearing a sound clip....

Go Mingster go!!

Congratulations on entering the aftermarket in a big way as a designer/supplier! (I.e. not "just" retailer of others' designs, though that is/was appreciated too!) With this exhaust, the IDi CAI, and the IDi wheels, plus the other stuff mentioned above, you've got quite a line going.

So -- when are we gonna see the full-up IDi S2000 show up at SCCA competitions?

John

P.S. Now that you've let the cat out of the bag, we won't let you rest till you post exhaust dyno sheets and sound clips!

Nice! Looks all good and shiny. Too bad I'm looking for a dual.

So now when people ask me what kind of X-brace I have, do I say "Import Development" or "MINUNI?"

Good luck!
