Sorry for the dunmb ? but who makes this "LE607" How much do I need to buy for the S's diff?

Lubrication Engieneers, you'll only need 1 quart. Many S2k vendors stock it such as GoFastLabs, Rick's, and Hardtop Guy.

I have 600 miles on a new MY05 diff. Is it too early to change fluid with a synthetic? I was thinking of the Amsoil synthetic 80w-90 GL-5 gear oil (I have a case of it in my basement).

I'd wait until 2-3k miles, let the gears break-in.

Always used Mobil 1,with no problems;I change it every 10 K,or so.
May try the LE 607,next time.
Is it a GL 5 +???

Yes, LE607 is the correct fluid for our rear differentials. I am running it and have no complaints. Supposedly its a bit louder than the M1 75W-90, but thats a trade-off for better warm-weather protection.

I did my first at 13,000 when I got the car, and intend to do it every 10,000. For $9 and 15 minutes of work, it's a no-brainer.

i did mine at about 8K and the fluid was VERY clean....a little too clean....but then again i drive mostly freeway
anyways, 2K might be a LITTLE overkill..
