"Dry Wash" works better than any wax I've used (not really a wax but a temporary protective coating) but you must apply it often unlike a conventional wax. Do not apply it to a dirty car as directed. That idea is rediculous. It also works great on black paint. Yes this is the same stuff you see people sporting advertisements on their cars. No I do not sell it nor have I ever but it is my favorite. Apply to glass too and you won't need to turn on your wipers, ever. Rain flies off like there's no tomarrow... it's almost weird to watch.

It's worth a try....
