Unlike most indash video/DVD units. the Kenwood KVT-715DVD has the ability for the screen to extend outward. Because of this, it appears that it *may* fit in the dash of an S2000. I've taken measurements on how far the screen slides out before it flips up and how far forward the screen can extend out and based on these measurements it may fit or be made to fit. I haven't had time to try installing one yet, so I'm not absolutely positive.

there is one flip screen in-dash that clear the shifter,
someone on the forum has it, they put in about a grand to make in motorized and had to reroute the vents, but it came out very nicely

Just an FYI for all the s2kers....

Ive tried EVERY screen on the market, and EVERY model. Eclipse, Panasonic, Audiobahn, Soundstream, Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, Clarion and MORE.

None of the screens posess the two qualities needed for an s2k. They either hit the shifter, or they hit the dash overhang.

None of them fit.

Besides, remember, If you somehow did get the screen to open, if you race someone...and slam it into 3rd gear, youre gonna wack your screen and crack it in 3 pieces.
