Siper2 - you don't have to pray...Just put away $50/a day for the next two years...You will come out on top with your dream car and few options...

enlight, photos don't do justice. the s2000 looks weak in 99% of its photos. in person, it's a totally different experience. i'm sure you will agree.

color is off, too.

Several comments. I read the post on www.vtec.net and I wouldn't hang my hat on it. After all, AHM didn't tell anyone that Spa Yellow Pearl was coming for MY2001 until July or August, 2000.

We can't even be sure whether or not they've decided how many S2000's to make and how they will ration their production facilities between NSX's, S2000's and Insights or whether they will increase the resources devoted to those three cars.

There are, as I understand it, SEVEN S2000 colors shown on the Japanese web site: white, yellow, silver, black, red, a dark blue and a light blue.

As I understand it, the same yellow is called Indy Yellow outside of the USA and Spa Yellow Pearl in the USA (where someone else in Indianapolis, Indiana has registered "Indy" as a trademark).

Finally, oh my gosh, every S2000 color looks perfect from one spot=>behind the wheel. I sat behind the wheel and started and played with mine today. Settlement tomorrow afternoon I was too busy to complete the deal today and that is good because it means I can afford it. Of course, I can think of no more beautiful car in the world than '01 #52.

Ben - I am serious about the purple effect.

I saw one parked in undercover parking bout a month ago - and it sure looked purple to me.

the colour really does change alot in the light.

we have the yellow here and i visited the local dealer again and there it was in the showroom. nice color, but too cheesy. i realize black is the way to go for me. and with your input about the purple effect, tze, i will be safe with the black on black choice.

enlight, i have not seen the blue s2000 in person.
