Stage 5, Takumi gets an S2000.

 

Have you guys seen the live action one

 

Initial D fan here. I haven't seen the end of stage 4. My g/f got me the complete collection boxed set for my birthday, but the 4th stage that came with the set ends right before they race the guys in the Evo V and VI. Also, the subtitles are pretty bad on the 4th stage I have. Does anyone know if there is a 4th stage version with good subs? And I don't mean Tokyo pop.
The arcade version is fun, but I don't think the S2k is that good in V.3 of the game. I use an RX-8. Decent on all the tracks and awsome on Akagi.

 

Just download initial d. who buys anime anymore? Use bittorrent. pm me if you want the sites to dl anime. I shouldn't disclose them to the whole online community in case some1 decides they wanna get it shut down.

 

I'm just one of those wierd guys who likes to get stuff shipped to me in a box. How are the subs on the downloads though?

 

I saw it. They completely cheaped out on the carbon fibre hood on the AE86. They just painted the hood black

The live action one blew. Firstly, it was clearly chinese. Secondly Bunta was a drunk who likes young girls. The itski character was a combination of Itski and ikitini (comic relief AND mechanical wiz in one). "Tokyo Drift" was closer to the spirit of Initial D than the chinese movie was.

I found season 4 disappointing. I missed the comic antics that happened between races. As much as I thought I hated the "girlfriend's banging an older man" sub-plot in season one, it did add to the show. For me, the racing's the weakest part. Takumi just pulled out his old tricks in the last race, gutter run, lights out and simply should have lost.

I've been waiting for 4 seasons for Bunta to come out and show everyone how it's done.

 

okay, so I just dled Capeta. It's alright, but I'd rather watch adults race. Anyone have any other recommendations? I've seen all the diff series of Cyber Formula and all of Initial D.
