bump for the AEM V2
I use the Injen but only because I was able to get it for $100 shipped brand new from ebay. I have no complaints at all sounds very aggresive. Once you hit vtec makes you wanna wet your pants. As for power I have seen all top brands such as Aem, Injen, and some of the other Highly priced name brand stuff gain all reasonable numbers but nothing crazy.

I got the INJEN from a member on this board for $150 shipped with a K&N filter kit. GREAT intake. Heatsoak is GONE. I just installed a makeshift "umbrella" last night out of a gallon jug. I am going to make a custom PVC one this weekend, for a more sturdy application. The area where it goes is almost directly behind the passenger fake brake vent. The underside is protected from major splashing by the under carriage panel. The front bumper is solid in this area, as the fake vent is just unpainted bumper section (still solid, not an insert). I also plugged teh drain hole with some metal tape.
When i pulled the filter to install the umbrella, it did drip some water, but not much. I called INJEN about hydrolock, and they said if would take 1 liter of water directly into the cylinder heads to lock the engine. Most of the small stuff evaporates when it hits the hot intake manifold.
I have also ordered an AEM 3" bypass that comes in tomorrow for some added protection. Once all that stuff is in, as long as I do not drive through 12+" of water, I will be fine. Basically, keep the filter above the waterline (if you install bypass and umbrella), and you will be fine.
If you are STILL concerned about water issues, get the COMPTECH intake.

I've had mine for about 1 year paid around $225 I think. Sounds great in vtec expecially under a bridge.
I dynod at Speedquest in Grayslake, IL at 205 hp on a 95 degree day. They had a dyno meet the week prior and most S2000s were at 190 to 195 with intake and exhaust.
So, I'm happy with it. Cheap, sounds good, and I'm making good power for a basically stock car.
No hydrolock issues. But, you must plug drain hole which takes about 1 minute, or make an umbrella over the top if you are really worried. Unless you've had past experience submerging your front bumper in water I wouldn't worry too much.
