What does everyone use the inside slots of the radio panel/cover for?

I using for nothing...

 

I stash a little cash in there.

 

I use it to hold a pair of sunglasses. I applied two small patches of moleskin to the back of the door to prevent scratching of the lenses and can put my pair of sunglasses there when I don't need them. It works for me, but I too wish I knew the real (designed) purpose of the slots.

I didn't realize what it was for until I got my first ticket in the car. Now I know EXACTLY what it's for.

They fit perfectly.

The belt clip for my cell phone slides on just fine keeping the phone from sliding around on the turns.

 

I've not found it useful for anything yet but I'm keeping my eye out for the perfect somthing that fits there.

 

I don't use it much, but when I do it is for receipts.

 

I keep my auto registration card there. Fits perfectly. And quickly accessible for officer Bob!
