you might have a case of claustrophobia. when my friend sat passenger with me, he kept freaking out and started to sweat saying it was too confined for him. He had to take off his jacket and started to roll down the windows. (true story) Might be the same case with you but the interior was the deciding factor for me to buy a s2000.

nah im not claustrophobic, i liked feeling like some of you said, like i wasnt gunna go anywhere in a small car like that but was really worried about head room and if it took long for someone who was used to a bigger car and started driving it. i havent taken it for a test drive yet. i wanna work on my manual skills first. i can do it but since my current car is an auto and ive never actually had to opportunity to own a manual im not as well as others. once i feel confortable i will take it out. i liked how i didnt have to reach all around the car to hit any buttons, they were all right infront of me which is a plus.
me and all my friends called it a go-kart also hahaha thats awesome
but yeah thanks for everyones input and im really suprized to hear that yall have head room. thats good cuz the ones who mentioned it are taller than i so that makes me feel better. ima save up for like 6 months then go get one. gives me time to figure out my income and all that jazz and make sure i can fully afford it.
if anyone wants to give me anymore information please fill free to post on here or pm me or AIM: Blue96gtstang

thanks guy, that helped out alot

I'm 6'2"...210lbs., and I have plenty of headroom. Legroom on the other hand is a little tight. I'm also pushing maximum capacity in the shoulder area. IMHO... you do get use to the tight cockpit. When I drive my other car (Lincoln Town Car) I use to have the seat as far back as it would go. I now find myself adjusting the seat closer to the steering wheel. I must have adapted to the close confines of the S2K.

Plenty of headroom, for sure.
I'm 5'10", 180lbs and there's more than enough headroom for me.
In fact, I wish there were less, and probably lower seating position.
You WILL feel cramped at first, but eventually get used to the cozy interior.

I'm 18 also. I'm about 6' and 185 pounds. I have long legs and broad shoulders. I have no problem in the S2000. You will definitely adjust to it. The first car I had was an Avalanche. After that I bought my Fiero and made the adjustment to a 2 seater. The S was no big deal after driving a Fiero for a couple years.

I'm 18, about 6'3'' and 260lbs. I fit just fine. The first time I sat in the car I was iffy about movability, but now I feel right at home.

Im 19, Tall and skinny about 6'2 and i have no issues with the car. At first i felt like the front end was super long and i was driving a boat, and messed with my depth perception. I have a few issues getting into my upper center con. But its a roadster, Of course its going to be like nothing you have ever driven...

What the hell does age have with how a person fits once in the car? Apparently teenagers fit in the S2000 better than others (unless you're 90).

You've got to be kidding. I'm 6'4" and although the s2k is small, it's comfortable enough. I've taken mine from DC to NYC a few times and it wasn't a problem. If you're not comfortable about fitting in or driving a small car don't buy one.

FYI my previous car was an Isuzu Rodeo so there was quite a change, but I love the fact that the car fits like a glove.

I'm only 140 lbs and 5'7" but you aren't that much larger than me. It has plenty of room. Try driving an MR2 and you'll understand that the S is pretty roomy!

You want to be IN the seat, not ON the seat. being closely held in the bolsters allows you to feel the road because you spend less time sliding back and forth on the seat and more time connected to it. F15 fighter jet cock pits are the same way, keeps you close to all the controls and connected with the amazing machine.
