I'm 6'2" and don't have headroom issues with the top up. Its obviously a small car, but unless you're used to driving huge vehicles, you get used to it rather quickly.

I love it. Its like a cockpit. I'm 26, 6' and 195lb. Fits me fine and I have plenty of headroom.

Did you test sit a 2004+ or 2003-? FWIW, 2003-'s have an even tighter interior that the 2004+'s It was never something I had to get used to, it just felt right the first time I sat in it. Everything is at your fingertips and the cockpit allows you to do nothing but drive

I paid about $23,000 out the door for my S. It's a MY00 but only had one owner and <25k miles on it when I bought it. My other expenses are rent, cell phone bill, insurance ($315 a month), and the necessities like food and gas. In a couple months I turn 19 and my insurance will go down to about $250 a month. Mid-winter is the time to buy these cars, everybody is slashing their prices. The Toy Barn lowered the price on their silver S (MY02 w/17k miles) by almost $3,000 when winter came around.

Hay think of it like a women .Your current girl is heavy with some muscle , getting fatter and there are way to many that look like her .The S is your new girl sleek ,fit, very hot ,likes to go topless and you fit in her like you are the man .The cockpit is like a women's vagina (can i say that here )once your in her you can reach and touch all the parts you need to drive her crazy.

Well i'm from metro so that explains alot

I don't know what age has to do with fitting in the car. I was 28 when I get mine, and have had it 3 yrs. Anyways,
20 years from now you will understand what age has to do with the fit.

I mean, it's a tiny car.
The car has a snug interior, but it's certainly not tiny. Park next to a first gen Miata and the S2000 looks massive in comparison. Take the same first gen Miata and park it next to a Lotus Europa and the Miata looks massive in comparison. The S2000 even looks massive parked next to an AH-3000, and they've got an I-6 under their long hood.

The S2000 is hardly tiny, but it has a tighter fitting interior than some cars that actually are tiny.

If I'm not having a senior moment with my math, he'll be 51 in twenty years. I'm 58, and my partner (the one who just bought the Elise) is 48. He has WAY more trouble getting in and out of his Lotus than I do, so I really think age is only a perpherial factor (up to a point). Maybe I'll understand the revelence of age in another 10 or 20 years, but at 51 or even 58, age in and of itself, should not be an issue. Health and physical condition is what really makes such things easy or hard.

I dunno, i don't feel cramped at all. It actually feels a lot roomier to me. Then again, i came from a 2003 Miata, and *that* was a pretty tight fit for me, racing seat + roll bar and all.

Oh yeah, 26, 5'8", 165#.
