Install differences between Comptech and Vortech S/C kits?
I am wondering if someone could help me out and point out they key differences and major components of the install of the two S/C kits on the market.
Particularily I was hoping someone could point out exactly what else needs to be done to your car other then what is included in the kit.
New ECU? New header? Tuning? Spark plugs? etc...
Also how much PSI does each run..and is this variable?
Appreciate your guys knowledge and help. Thanks.

From looking at both of the kits instructions online the key differences would be the installation of the after cooler and the wiring of the piggy back computer for the vortech.
to sum it up the votech kit will take a lot more time to install. thats why im giving myself a week to do mine

s2000 with a supercharger? c'mon! that's worse than an integra/civic with a turbo!
honda's all about all-motor! duh
hell, if you want a blown f20c, why not go that extra step and drop in a chevy rat motor?

yeah, s2ki is really starting to attract some of the more intelligent automotive enthusiasts..
as far as your question, Hobb.. the kits include everything you need to take an S2000 from stock to blown. You don't need anything else to make it work, although other mods can work in concert with the kit to make more power. Boost is never variable on a supercharger, as the blower is driven by a belt, attached to the supercharger pulley. You can change the amount of boost by changing the pulley, but this isn't reccommended on a motor with stock internals on pump gas.

Thanks Azrael, Xviper, DJHohum for your helpful answers.
So considering that the Vortech kit seems to be more time consuming (at least seems that way), if you had to pay someone to do it this would presumably add quite a bit of cost to the kit?
