Here in Florida, State Farm has tucked to us. Some rates have tripled in the past 2 years. I pay about $2000. a year for my S with quite a bit of insurance. When I called my State Farm agent to bitch and tell him I haven't been in a car accident since I was 16 years old (I'm 56 now) and have no tickets on record, he said, "It's not you...it's everyone else that caused the increase." Sorry...no consolation.

It's really easy to switch carriers...you'll find better premiums and better service!
Because our esteemed Insurance Commissioner fawked up, so the high rates are charged by everyone now in Florida.

You might want to scroll up and re-read my earlier post, I live in South Florida too and I don't pay anywhere near that.

same here. I'm with State Farm up in Tallahasee and it's $75 a month for me for full coverage. I'm 25 and married with no kids. BTW, this is the same rate that I was paying on my GS-R before I sold it...

I'm 21 with an '03 and pay about 3100/year for full coverage on the s2k, and my 96 GSR, and my motorcycle. That's with my one ticket using Progressive.. I had to call 'em up and talk them down, but it was worth it.

I am 18 and I called my insurance company wich is USAA and got quoted for 452.20 a month with 2 wrecks. One my fault and one called no ones fault, and three tickets wich I manage to get dismissed all three times. He also told me that all of this would roll off in three years. By the way your rates will go down when you turn 20, 21, and 25. Usaa is the best!
