I have Hagerty for my 67 Mustang (7 years) and recently purchased 04 S2000 (3 months). The agreed upon value is nice and chose the 4000 mile option. Due to the current car market I have raised the value on both and it is marginally higher in cost.

I started looking into getting Hagerty's for my 02 S. I bought it new and it has 43k. All stock and I have not tracked or autocrossed it. I was living in southern NH and just moved to S.W. FL 11/20. Always stored it in winter with just comprehensive insurance on it. It's covered if it's damaged or stolen etc. Cost is minimal, maybe$100 for 6 months. Now I get to drive it year round. Driving my S in January on a beautiful sunny day at the beach is not a bad thing. On my original quote with Hagerty's I used 25k value. I might be low on that. I thought their quote was reasonable. I guess we have to treat our car like a classic. Not a bad problem to have.

Yes, all else being equal, a guy would pay more here for an S2K than one Toronto for example. Perhaps as simple as greater selection back East vs. here.
Probably decent selection in Quebec and Ontario. Not so much on the east coast. Money for toys would be more available in BC than around here I expect.

My 01 is now over 20 years old, so I am applying for collector plates which means no more front plate here in MN

Default Estimate of value - 2007 80k miles?

I'm thinking of setting an agreed value of $35,000. Thoughts??

I have a 2007 with approx 80,000 original miles. I’m second owner. Car was rear ended before I purchased. Body work seems well done. No modifications, all OEM everything (all service performed by dealer). I don’t know how to grade condition - a few minor dings inside and out. Paint (new formula red) is bright - no fading. It’s garaged and driven less than 5k/year. Thoughts from the community as to agreed value on it if I switch insurance?

Thanks for reminding me of them. A guy I know uses them for his Cobra. I will see how they compare with Hagerty's.

Reminds me i should see if i can up my agreed upon value with Hagerty. Been with them for over a year and at the time agreed upon value was 22k 60k miles 2005 all 10 VINS. At this point i feel like i can ask for closer to 28k. Car currently sitting at 69k miles.

I have an 04 with around 130k mi on it and have Hagerty agreed value for $28k. Its not so much what I think my car is worth as much as it is what money I'd need to find a suitable replacement. My car may have miles but it is in great condition, and to buy a clean GPW today is realistically a $30k buy imo.

Default Thoughts on Agreed Value for my ‘02?

Just had a lady who had a seizure and plow into my newly painted (2 weeks ago) ‘02 Silverstone. 116,000 miles. Now I’m going to have to deal with insurance (American Family/Connect/Costco). Thoughts on value and how I justify what I want for Replacement value. I’d like to have $22K from it.
