Insurance is cheap in Wyoming !
Wow,
My insurance is $650/year for maximum liability, $1000 collision deductible, comprehensive, towing, medical payment, and low mileage.
I thought it would be more!
I love Wyoming more and more!

Hey, do they still have the "reasonable and prudent" speed law out there, or is there an actual speed limit now?
I had a friend get a ticket in one of the no speed limit states (Montana or Wyoming, I forget). He was doing 136 in a Porsche 930 turbo. It was at twilight. The police that pulled him over said that 136 at twilight was dangerous. In any case, he posted it as a badge of honor for all to see.
Recently, an un-named friend of mine (and this board) saw 142mph indicated on his speedometer on a public highway. He was chased in another S2K until about 112mph, then said person decided to back off while Mr. 142 kept going.

Wyoming's speed limit is 75 day and night.
Montana used to be "reasonable and prudent" during the day and 65 at night. Now it too is 75/65 too.
Radar is essential here to remind you to slow down. I've never seen a real laser setup though.
Greg, Scarlet I's fate has led me to keep my Prelude (and it's Yokohama Guardex studless studded snow tires) but really the S2000 is just made for driving the twistie roads in the mountains!
There's plenty to hit out here besides rocks. I hit a 1200 moose with my '88 Prelude 4ws back in '90. The moose literally flew over the car and did $9500 of damage. I traded that car to the dealer two years later when I bought the '93 Prelude.
I'll have to check with USAA today, but I should comment that my insurance cost includes the maximum liability they offer 100,000/300,000 or higher.
