wat is a better intake? ARC intake, Aem Cold Air,Aem v2,Comtech Air Intake?

 

u probably have to ask yourself what is your normal driving habits. U like low end to mid end gain or mid to high end gain. Usually the CAI system will give u a mid to high end gain while the AEM V2 is designed to give u gains around the low to mid range. Ice box will give u a better low end too. So the only questions remains, what are u looking for in terms of gains.

 

i am looking for mid to high

 

then any CAI system( other than V2) will be your choice of weapon.

Why not, Mugen or Js CAI's?

in theory and technologically i think v2 is the best choice
cai with sound pulse technology giving u not only colder thus denser air but also denser air in sound pulses...

others just suck cold air ^^

but this is the idea behind V2...

also consider ease of installation if that matter i think v2 needs some fenderwell cutting while some other intakes are drop in... ^^

 

ARC = bling.

AEM V1 or V2 (V2's a little stronger on top and is a little more involved to install), the V1's have a nice power spike at ~3500 but tapers off where the V2 gets stronger. Easier to install than the V2.

Comtech = may help with Vtech (sorry, couldn't resist)

Comptech = nice, works good, filter box's a little big and may hit the hood (or vise versa)
