mugen does require cutting of the hood unless you have a mugen hood..

I believe the Comptech and PRM are a couple and the Spoon airduct and HKS as well. Not to sure of any others. All of these are good products IMO. Just stay away from the AEM and Injen models. I almost hydrolocked my car 3 years ago with the AEM and the Injen IMO looks the same as the AEM. If money isnt a problem then I would get the Mugen CAI with the Mugen SS front along with the Mugen CF hood. Wont require any cutting. Then again $6500 is a lot of cash to spend on 3 things.

Spoon does require cutting of the radiator cover thingy (that's the honda technical term)

Well, I figured if you're going to spend $1200 on an intake, you're probably going to get
the Mugen hood to match, yes? At least I would. I'm still trying to talk myself out of
getting the Mugen front end. One good stock play and that sucker is mine. As for the
AEM and Injen water ingestion situations, you literally have to submerge the filter in
water. There are plenty of folks here who run either intakes and have had no problems in
heavy rain.
