Hey everyone just wondering being my BF and I just got a 2004 S2k but I am looking to get a 2001, what all parts can be swapped between the two. I like the lights on the new model, and the body the 2004 also.

My BF is also wondering if anyone can give him some specs on the motor, here he will type I have no idea what this all means...

Bore Size? Stroke? Compression?

 

All the body parts can be swapped. The toughest swap would be the taillights, which require a little cutting before they'll fit. I think just about every '04 part has been swapped into an <'04 car already

As for the '04 engine specs:

Bore & Stroke (mm/in.)= 87.0x90.7/3.43x3.57
Compression= 11.1:1

how easy is it to retrofit the headlights?

 

The headlights themselves are a straight replacement, but you'll either need to get the '04 HID ballast or modify/relocate the older one because it won't fit with the '04 lights.

 

Has anyone swapped the top to get a glass window instead of plastic? Other than that I don't think there is anything I would change.
