Default Interested in a CF radio door?

Would anybody be interested in a CF radio door?

I have not seen one before, so if it already exists please let me know. A buddy of mine can make CF parts and i was just wondering if it might be something of interest?

I think it would look pretty cool

I've seen a few before, but I'm not sure who made them (maybe Mastergrade?). Anyway, yeah it would be a neat little trim piece, as long as it looks good and is reasonably priced.

Why, you going to make some?

You may have seen mine, but my radio door is dipped, not CF.

At least you can get a visual from the pics:

I like.
The dash/trim kits all come with a piece that sticks on the radio door(like mine).

That's nice. With the center console piece in the CF too, that goes really well. How did you dip it? What is it dipped in?

Well my buddy said he might be interested to make them if they didn't already exist. I thought it was a pretty good idea.

I'm not a big fan of the stickers, though the application above looks pretty clean.

Yea, my dash kit is getting old and faded. I need to get a new one sometime. I like the dipped one too.

how does the dip one work?

Is it just what it means? you dip the radio door in a batch of CF paint? lol, not sure how it works. I guess I'll search around in the mean time

I'd like to see someone make the radio door out of REAL CF.

If you just want the outside of the door dipped, it might not be that difficult (or expensive). I'm guessing around $200 but I don't really know.

I wanted the radio side of the door dipped, as well; and I wanted the inside of the door to be black. This required the radio door to be split, dipped separately, and painted black inside- before putting it back together. It came out really nice, though.

I dipped the whole interior of my car in CF juice, but I'd much rather see someone do the whole OEM interior in REAL CF. That would be truly amazing!

Someone had an AP1 console made out of real cf, not dipped. It looked hot, wish I had a pic of it.
