Default Interested in Plastic Parts?

I have hooked up with a local plastic fabrication shop that does much of the work for NASA. The owner of the company is super excited about doing work on cars, as it something they don't do a whole lot of. Most of the vehicles they make things for are big truck fender liners and heavy duty bedliners. I'm having a few pieces made for my car and wanted to see if you guys have anymore suggestions for other parts/pieces? Hopefully we can come up with some new offerings for the S2000

These are the things I'm doing:

1. front bumper splitter for GP Sports
2. inserts for the sides of the GP Sports front bumper (haven't come up with a design yet)
3. door inserts replicated for the GP Sports side skirts (lighter for using double sided tape instead of epoxy)
4. a rear valence for single exhaust (to the best of my knowledge these are not produced anymore)

I hope to have these finished and installed on my car before March 24th, so hold on for pictures.

When the pieces are finished and installed I will talk to a S2Ki vendor about offering these parts so I'm not cutting into S2Ki selling rules or hurting our sponsors.

Are there any other things out there that people would like to see made out of plastic?

Yes, they are still being made. They are just not currently offered until some things can be ironed out.

Oh - I didn't know they were still around. The last thing I want to do is hurt a Sponsor or start competition, so if you or Rick aren't interested in the valence I'll leave that one alone

I regard Rick as a friend

I would still be interested in a rear valence for a single exhaust for 2000-2003 Models. I have the ztec one for my car and i'm not satisfied at all by the quality or fitment of the piece. Lets see if someone can make a better looking and fitting piece that actually looks oem.

That's another reason to get them.

I don't know how it could be done to look like part of the bumper

For what I'm thinking you'd have a line around the edge and if you didn't get it painted it would look really bad.

There are 3 2004+ owners who work with me - I'll try to get one of them up to the plastics place to see if something can be done that looks good....

Yea I'm skeptical too, but you never know it might work. I like the look of the MY04+ rear but will end up running a single. Worth a shot to see if it's possible...

PLEASE replicate the air intake snorkel but make is out of ABS plastic. I don't need carbon/kevlar and I want something stronger than figerglass. I think a product like this would sell, especially if the price is right.
