Interesting poll at Car & Driver
stupid poll, imo. stupid results too, also imo.
comparing the s and the z is dumb. i guess c&d has decided that a similar pricepoint is enough to make the comparison.
repeat after me... the s is a roadster, the z is a gt. cross shopping the two is like cross shopping an MDX and an BMW 330i. both cars cost roughly the same $, have four doors and six cylinder engines. obviously, they're not the same type of vehicles.

Car and Driver is lame. They leave the s2 out of their sport convertible comparisons stating price as the object, and then try to compare it with a coupe because of some similarity of price. They are friggin idiots!
Haha,
You want some drivel, read the S2k vs. 350Z thread over at www.my350z.com.
Some people are morons, no matter what.

Interestingly enough, Car & Driver's article on the 350Z makes no mention of the S2000 at all. This is especially odd because they go on and on about how the 350Z defines its own market segment by splitting the difference between $20K Miatas/MR2's and $50K Corvettes/Boxsters. It seems to me that the S2000 does exactly the same thing ...
Yes, it has always seemed that Car and Driver has a blind spot regarding the S2000. They hardly mention it in articles, they don't include it in comparison tests, BUT they do put it on their '10 Best' list.
Go figure.

Hey, Vee - I just noticed that we both have VERY low Post-Per-Day averages - you're just .02 in front (or is that behind) me. But I've got 60 days seniority on you.
And you're in Portland, just a hop, skip, and a swim away...
