Interesting talk on the Altima board...

It's kinda funny how people blow a simple post like the above one out of proportion. I can understand how an outsider, like the 911 kill argument that erupted on this board, could get out of control calling BS on everyone.
It makes for good reading though....
Cheers,

hahahaha what BS!!!
if that is true, then the S2000 drivers were just messing around and lost on purpose or they deserved to get their S2000's taken away because they can't drive them right!

...but the altima being a car for the family at $15K cheaper...
The new Altima car in question is around $23500. For what it's worth, this is $10k less than a new S2k, not $15k less.
The new Altima is definitely a nice car. I'd have a very tough time choosing between it and the WRX. I'd probably end up with the WRX.

Nissans are nice, though.

Don't get too excited about straight line loses.. that is not what the S2000 is about (or even good at).
Apples and Oranges, for sure!
The new Altima V6 is very nice. However, I still prefer the V6 Accord over this car. IMHO, Nissan's HP and torque numbers are just an illusion. The Accord is a much more refined automobile.
The S2000 offers the biggest bang for the buck in it's class.
I am patiently waiting for the new "Z". I am hoping that Nissan is able to knock our socks off with this new one.
