i can try an find pics but i am talking about around the shifter its normally i think gunmetal like ours. I helped my buddy use paint thinner an we ended up with a polished piece it looked pretty nice. I was actually thinking that with my NFR i would just black out the bezel an the piece around the top switch

To polish the plastic around your shifter is an easy fix. A little alcohol will do the trick. Check this thread for more information

You must be one of the few that knows what keppie is!!!! When we got our dog we were always telling her to come lay her keppie down. After 24 hours we named her Keppie.

I still would like to hear from Mister Jew as to the meaning of the name. The fact that there has not been a response concerns me. If an answer is not posted I will contact a moderator and ask him/her to investigate. If this is a racial slur this is no place for one. Not that there is a good place for one ----------------

Whats wrong with the name? I am a Polish jew my grandfather spent many years of his life in Auschwitz in a camp losing his entire family. Its no racial slur if anything its just a way for me to have a unique user name and be proud of what i am at the same time.

Anyways i thought i could use alcohol but wasnt sure i am starting to think i would rather black it all out now but ill see.

exactly ... nothing wrong just thinking why the name / no criticism...my family is from Eastern European background...mostly Romania & Germany...many relatives in the camps during WWII with American Uncles fighting & dieing in both Europe (Izzy died at Normandie) and the Pacific (Sam died at Pearl Harbor) ... my Dad fought in South Pacific....

it's all good.
