i need some advice. i'm about to get a 2002 s2k. but i want the silver with red interior. the problem is that i like the older "red/black" interior...i think there's too much red for me in the new one. so, will honda let you order the car with the black interior...but swap out the black seats for red? i'm thinking about waiting for the silverstone metallic to come back in the 2003 model...

hey i was thinking the same thing - I was like I definetely like the older red setup. But after I saw JasonB's pics I was hooked. I ended up getting the same car. I love it. Haven't gotten tired of the red and don't think I ever will. It's just so exotic. Check out his page at http://get.to/s2002 It's got some really cool pictures. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

 

I don't think Honda would do this. Maybe you can find a dealer or perhaps an individual on this forum willing to make the swap you described.

 

no they deffently dont. i want white or Suzuka Blue with black interior. so looks like i gotta do what honda cant and make one with black.

 

See the all red interior in person before you go to the trouble of swapping the interior. I felt the same way you do now to the point of canceling my order. Lucky for me, I saw one in person and changed my mind. I went ahead with the order in all red. The all red is great. I have had it for a week now. No regrets.

 

I agree. The red interior is awesome! Reminds me of the old Chevy Red from the '56 vette. The younger women that see it (20-something's) mostly say "Oooooo, why'd you get red? Didn't they have any other color?" . But the 35+ crowd usually think it's way cool. I think it's sporty as hell and I feel like I'm driving a very classy hot rod.
