It helps to have some spare panels to take apart and get the pattern from. It also helps to have a good sewing machine. It's mostly just time consuming and you have to have an eye for dimensions. I've been doing a lot of vinyl work lately so I've gotten the hang of how things need to fold and set to make the seams right. Good luck if you try it

If you wait a week, you can get them from the group buy
If your willing to do that CF style fabric with silver stiching I think I'd be down for it

When they go group buy, it will be all custom order so whatever pattern/stitch color you want. I can even do alligator print

sorry to say, but i feel it puts a shame to type r theme. the carbon fiber vinyl is rice, looks like a a ricer boy trying to get the type r look. kind of like these seats. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black-Synth...076304048QQrdZ1

use suede instead the cheap stuff, looks 100 times better IMO.

I honestly think that black with red stitching has been around a lot longer than the type R

I always wanted to do what I did here with suede and vinyl as I had suede/leather seats in my last S. The feel is nice and it grips really well in the seat. In the end, it's all personal preference. The guy who's interior I did wanted the CF theme. There is an unlimited amount of combinations though that I think will look good.

I just picked up some threads for stiching to match every body color today and have found a positive match for the red and blue vinyl. I can't wait to start making some two tone panels

You mean like a cover for the little pad on the console? B/c the car in the pic is an AP1. The little pad can come off on an AP2 console though so I can recover it. Can't do that with an AP1 console.
