Many on this board have complained of dash and top latch rattles after a few thousand miles. The degree to which you are irritated by these problems depends on you. I have a latch rattle that I haven't been able to get rid of; however, with the top down my car feels and sounds like it's carved from a solid billet, even over severe bumps, railroad tracks, etc. after 15k miles.

The only noises I get is when the seats are reclined all the way back. You get this annoying leather on plastic squeak, which is easily remedied by adjusting the seat forward one notch.

From previous posts. Heat shrink tubing on the latches and removal of the cargo net clips will eliminate 99% of interior rattle sounds for many, many, miles.

I wonder if you are refering to the interior rattles and squeaks that come standard on most japanese cars (and not so standard on the more solid german cars). My prelude vtec has these problems. When I first got it I thought, here is a high end honda, unlike the less expensive civics and such, so I won't get those cheap interior rattles. Naturally, this was a myth and my prelude makes lots of noises too. YOu can go through and open up interior panels and stuff foam in them and look for wires or harnese or whatever that may be hitting the plastic panels and place foam next to it or something. Or, if you got $$, just dynamat the interior. But in a convertible with the top down, these interior noises just "disappear"

I never hear any noises with the top down.

With the top up, I can't hear any noises over all the racket.
